A Special Thank You From Barbara
To all who participated in this year's Cut for the Cure - THANK YOU!
We did 107 haircuts and raised $4,183.00. Donations like one year free Direct TV donated by Rick and Karen Purpura, an X-Box donated by Duane and Lisa Martin, Dinner for Eight at the Magic Castle donated by Michael and Barbara Varma and all the other generous donations made our event that much more special.
I would like to thank everyone who volunteered their time like CA Hair Academy in Orange, who did all the shampooing, sweeping and helped in any way they could. This event could not be possible without the team work of Artistic Hair's hairstylists and manicurist. Thank you. To all the wonderful people who we met for the first time. Thank you for your generosity. To all the people who keep returning, thank you for supporting this great event.
See you again next year!

Artistic Hair's 12th Annual Cut for the Cure will be held at the salon on Sunday, October 19, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Barbara and her staff will be asking for a $15.00 donation for all haircuts (no appointments will be taken). We need your help to contact as many people as possible to reach our goal of $13,000.00.
This year as in the past many of our clients and local businesses will be donating gifts to be raffled off the day of the Cut for the Cure. Raffle tickets are being sold at the salon. Any gift donations or baskets for our raffle can be taken to the salon or we will be happy to pick them up.
Dollars raised through this program help fund groundbreaking breast cancer research, provide up-to-date cancer information and education, advocate for public policies that benefit the community, and provide services that improve the quality of life for patients and their families.

We just held our 11th Annual Cut for the Cure and it was a huge success. We raised over $10,000.00 and the money was donated to the American Cancer Society to help fight breast cancer. We did over 140 haircuts and many contributors shared their own stories on how breast cancer has affected them or someone they love. We are proud and honored to share in the fight against breast cancer and we look forward to a cure very soon. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to our 11th Annual Cut for the Cure.

Just wanted to let you know that we had our Cut for the Cure on October 22nd. It was very successful. We raised over $12,000.00. We did over 135 haircuts. Clients and Local businesses donated over 120 gifts for our raffle. Our largest single donation ever, was presented to us by Jon & Patty Kimbrell of Kimbrell Insurance of Orange in the amount of $1,500.00. The Mayor of Orange was here to present us with a Proclamation proclaiming Oct. 22nd, Artistic Hair Day due to the many years we have been doing this. It was an exciting day and we were so proud to be able to present the American Cancer Society with over $12,000.00 in donations to help fight breast cancer. Check back to find out when our 11th Annual Cut for the Cure is scheduled.
